Thankful Challenge #5 - How blessed I am to be married to a great man! Above all else, Lee is a man of honor and of faithfulness. He serves our family tirelessly, and even after 20 years we still have fun together! Lee has many qualities that I am thankful for, but above all, I am grateful that we get to live life together. We have been married long enough to have had some incredible mountaintop experiences together and to have had times when all we could do was to hold on to each another and to God and pray that we make it through to the other side intact.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 is a great picture of marriage. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." Lee and I have picked each other up time and again, and I pray we have many more years of building our life together!
